Everything you need to know about Clock Deck. Pricing, features, integrations, privacy, and getting started.
Clock Deck is a flat-rate time tracking, employee scheduling, and workforce management platform built for businesses with hourly teams and the CPAs, bookkeepers, and agencies that manage them. Plans start at $29/month with unlimited employees included on every tier.
Clock Deck was founded by Joshua Kollar in Kuna, Idaho. It started from a conversation with a local business owner who was frustrated with the cost and complexity of existing time tracking tools. That conversation led to a deep analysis of the market and the gaps no one was filling: transparent flat-rate pricing, photo verification, offline reliability, and a centralized agency dashboard for managing multiple client businesses from one place. Clock Deck was built to close those gaps.

Clock Deck offers four plans: Basic at $29/month, Pro at $59/month, Enterprise at $129/month, and Agency/CPA at $199/month. All plans include unlimited employees. There are no per-user fees.
No. Clock Deck does not offer a free plan. All plans include a 7-day free trial so you can test the full platform with your team before committing.
Yes. A credit card is required to start the 7-day free trial. Your card is not charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial period is over, you will not be charged.
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan at the rate shown during signup.
Not at this time. Clock Deck is billed monthly. There are no annual contracts or long-term commitments.
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
On the Pro plan and above, Clock Deck captures the employee's GPS location at the moment they clock in, clock out, or log a break. GPS is not tracked continuously between clock events. Location data is only recorded at the time of each event.
Break tracking is manual. When an employee is clocked in, they tap "Start Break" to begin a break and "End Break" to resume work. Break time is recorded separately from work time and appears on timesheets.
Geofencing is available on the Enterprise plan. You set a radius around each work location, and when an employee clocks in, the system checks whether they are within that radius. Depending on your settings, clock-ins outside the zone can either be flagged for review or blocked entirely.
Advanced Overtime Rules are available on the Enterprise plan. They allow you to configure custom overtime thresholds and calculations based on your business rules, including daily and weekly overtime triggers.
Yes. Each business sets its own time zone in settings. All clock events, timesheets, and schedules display in that time zone.
No. Employees clock in and out through the app, but only managers, admins, and owners can edit timesheet records. All edits are recorded in the immutable audit log on Pro and above.
No. Clock Deck does not currently offer a dedicated kiosk mode. Each employee clocks in from their own device using the mobile app or web browser.
Not at this time. Clock Deck focuses on time tracking, scheduling, and attendance. PTO and time-off management may be added in a future update.
A manager or business owner invites employees by email through the team management page. The employee receives an invite link, clicks it, creates a password, and their account is activated. Employees do not need to sign up on their own.
There is no automated import tool at this time. Employees are added through the team management interface, either manually or by sending email invitations.
Most businesses can have their account set up and their team invited within a few minutes. The platform includes a guided onboarding walkthrough that covers all features and navigation.
Yes. QuickBooks Online integration is available on the Enterprise plan and above. Approved time entries sync to QuickBooks as TimeActivity records. You can map employees between the two systems and set up automatic or manual syncing.
Not directly at this time. Clock Deck integrates with QuickBooks Online on the Enterprise plan. For other payroll providers, you can export timesheet data as CSV files on any plan and import them into your payroll system.
API key management is available for Enterprise plan customers. Contact support@clockdeck.com for details on API access and capabilities.
GPS is captured only at the moment of a clock event (clock in, clock out, or break). Clock Deck does not track employee location between events. There is no continuous background tracking.
GPS location and photo verification data is visible to business owners, admins, and managers with the appropriate permissions. On the Agency/CPA plan, authorized agency staff assigned to a client business can also access this data. Employees can see their own clock records.
Clock Deck uses encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. The platform uses row-level security (RLS) to ensure multi-tenant data isolation, meaning each business can only access its own data. Regular security reviews and access controls are in place. For full details, see the Privacy Policy.
The Agency/CPA plan is designed for CPAs, bookkeepers, payroll providers, and staffing firms that manage multiple client businesses. It includes a centralized agency dashboard, unlimited agency staff, and the first 5 managed client businesses. Additional client businesses are $25/month each.
Agency staff can be assigned to specific client businesses so they only see the accounts they are responsible for. The agency owner has visibility across all managed client businesses from the master dashboard.
