Clock Deck Affiliate Program Terms
Last Updated: May 15, 2026
These Clock Deck Affiliate Program Terms ("Terms") govern participation in the Clock Deck Affiliate Program ("Program"). By applying for, joining, or participating in the Program, you agree to these Terms.
1. Program Overview
The Clock Deck Affiliate Program allows approved affiliates to promote Clock Deck and earn commissions on eligible subscription payments from referred customers.
Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Clock Deck may approve, reject, suspend, or remove affiliates at its discretion.
2. Approval Required
You are not an active affiliate until Clock Deck approves your application and issues you an approved referral link, code, or affiliate account access.
You may not represent yourself as a Clock Deck affiliate, partner, representative, employee, agent, or reseller unless your application has been approved.
3. Electronic Acceptance
By checking the agreement box, submitting an affiliate application, creating an affiliate account, using an affiliate link, accessing Partner Demo Access, or otherwise participating in the Program, you electronically agree to these Terms.
Your electronic acceptance has the same legal effect as a signed written agreement.
If you are applying or participating on behalf of a company, brand, agency, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that organization.
4. Referral Tracking
Approved affiliates may receive a unique referral link, code, or other tracking method.
Referrals are tracked using a 60-day tracking cookie. If a customer clicks your approved referral link, a cookie is stored in their browser for 60 days. If the customer signs up for an account within that 60-day window and the referral is properly tracked as eligible, you may receive credit for the referral according to these Terms.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, Clock Deck uses last-click attribution. If a prospective customer clicks multiple affiliate links before signing up, the most recent eligible affiliate link or tracking method before signup will receive attribution.
Referral attribution may be replaced or lost if the customer clears cookies, uses a different browser or device, blocks tracking, signs up without using an affiliate link, clicks another affiliate's eligible link, or cannot otherwise be properly tracked by Clock Deck's systems.
5. Commission Structure
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, approved affiliates earn:
15% recurring commission on eligible subscription payments from referred customers for up to 10 years, as long as the referred customer remains subscribed and in good standing.
High-performing affiliates may qualify for higher commission rates, such as 20%, at Clock Deck's discretion or according to specific performance requirements communicated by Clock Deck.
Commission rates may vary by affiliate, campaign, plan, promotion, or agreement.
6. Eligible Commissions
Commissions are earned only on eligible subscription payments actually collected by Clock Deck.
Commissions are not earned on:
- Free trials
- Refunded payments
- Chargebacks
- Failed payments
- Fraudulent accounts
- Self-referrals
- Test accounts
- Demo accounts
- Internal accounts
- Unauthorized resale accounts
- Accounts created in violation of these Terms
- Taxes, fees, or other non-subscription charges
Client businesses created under an Agency/CPA account are not eligible for separate affiliate commissions unless Clock Deck has expressly approved that arrangement in writing. Agency/CPA accounts are separate from the standard affiliate referral model.
Affiliates may not earn commissions on their own Clock Deck account, businesses they own or control, accounts operated primarily for their own use, or accounts created to artificially generate commissions.
7. Trial Periods
The standard Clock Deck customer trial is 7 days unless otherwise stated.
Some approved affiliates or approved campaigns may be allowed to offer an extended trial, such as 14 days.
Extended trial offers are not automatic and may only be used when approved by Clock Deck.
Affiliates may not advertise extended trials, special offers, discounts, bonuses, or promotional terms unless Clock Deck has approved them.
8. Payouts
Commissions are paid according to Clock Deck's payout schedule and only after the related customer payment has been collected and cleared.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, approved commissions are reviewed and paid monthly.
Clock Deck may require a minimum approved balance of $50 before issuing payment.
Commissions may remain pending for at least 30 days after the related customer payment is collected to account for refunds, chargebacks, fraud checks, and payment disputes.
If an affiliate's approved balance is below the minimum payout threshold, the balance will roll forward until the threshold is met.
Affiliates are responsible for providing accurate payout information.
Clock Deck may withhold payouts until required tax, payment, identity, or compliance information has been provided.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, commissions are calculated and paid in U.S. dollars. Affiliates are responsible for any payment processor fees, bank fees, currency conversion fees, or other charges imposed by their payment provider or financial institution.
9. Refunds, Chargebacks, Cancellations, and Reversals
If a referred customer cancels, receives a refund, disputes a charge, fails to pay, or is found to be fraudulent or ineligible, related commissions may be reversed, reduced, withheld, or deducted from future payouts.
Commissions are only valid for active, eligible, paid accounts in good standing.
10. Taxes
Affiliates are responsible for all taxes related to commissions they receive.
Clock Deck may require tax forms or other documentation before paying commissions.
U.S.-based affiliates may be required to provide a completed W-9 before receiving payouts. Non-U.S. affiliates may be required to provide applicable tax documentation.
Clock Deck may issue applicable tax forms when required by law.
11. Approved Promotional Methods
Affiliates may promote Clock Deck through approved and lawful methods, including:
- Websites
- Blogs

- Social media
- Email newsletters
- Podcasts
- Business referrals

All promotions must be honest, accurate, and not misleading.
12. Prohibited Promotional Methods
Affiliates may not:
- Use spam
- Use misleading claims
- Use fake reviews or fake testimonials
- Misrepresent Clock Deck pricing, features, commissions, or guarantees
- Claim to be an employee, owner, official representative, or agent of Clock Deck
- Use Clock Deck branding in a way that creates confusion
- Run unauthorized paid ads using Clock Deck's brand name

- Violate platform rules, advertising laws, privacy laws, or email marketing laws
- Resell Clock Deck accounts without authorization
- Broker accounts to third parties
- Use Agency/CPA accounts for unauthorized resale or unmanaged third-party access
13. No Unauthorized Resale
The Program is for referral commissions only. Affiliates may not resell, repackage, white-label, broker, lease, or manage Clock Deck accounts for third parties unless Clock Deck has separately approved that relationship in writing.
Agency/CPA accounts are intended for legitimate agencies, CPAs, bookkeepers, staffing firms, or authorized service providers managing client businesses through the Clock Deck Agency/CPA plan.
Unauthorized resale or misuse of Agency/CPA access may result in suspension, termination, commission reversal, and account cancellation.
14. Customer Privacy and Data Protection
Affiliates may not request, collect, access, or misuse customer account information, employee information, payroll data, time records, GPS data, photos, or other sensitive business data unless specifically authorized by the customer and permitted by Clock Deck.
Affiliates may not mislead customers about who can access their data.
Affiliates must respect customer privacy and comply with applicable privacy, data protection, advertising, and communication laws.
15. Partner Demo Access
Clock Deck may provide approved content partners with temporary Partner Demo Access for creating walkthroughs, reviews, tutorials, or promotional content.
Partner Demo Access may include access to certain paid features for demonstration purposes only.
Partner Demo Access may not be used for live business operations, client management, resale, payroll processing, or unauthorized third-party use.
Clock Deck may revoke Partner Demo Access at any time.
16. Content Guidelines
Affiliates may create honest reviews, tutorials, comparisons, walkthroughs, and educational content about Clock Deck.
Affiliates must clearly disclose their affiliate relationship when required by law, platform rules, or advertising guidelines.
Affiliates must clearly and conspicuously disclose their affiliate relationship with Clock Deck in any content, review, tutorial, comparison, email, social post, video description, or promotion where a referral link, commission, demo access, free access, extended trial, or other material connection exists.
Acceptable disclosures may include clear statements such as "I may earn a commission if you sign up through my link" or "This video contains an affiliate link." Disclosures must be placed where ordinary viewers or readers are likely to notice them and may not be hidden only in footers, buried hashtags, or hard-to-find descriptions.
Affiliates may not make false claims about Clock Deck's features, pricing, security, integrations, uptime, legal compliance, or results.
Affiliates may not guarantee that a customer will save money, eliminate payroll errors, prevent all time theft, or achieve specific results.
17. Brand Usage
Approved affiliates may use Clock Deck's approved logos, screenshots, product images, and promotional materials only for lawful promotion of Clock Deck.
Affiliates may not alter Clock Deck branding in a misleading way or create materials that make it appear they are Clock Deck, own Clock Deck, or officially represent Clock Deck beyond being an approved affiliate.
18. Suspension or Termination
Clock Deck may suspend or terminate an affiliate at any time for violation of these Terms, suspected fraud, abuse, misleading promotion, brand misuse, unauthorized resale, privacy concerns, or any activity Clock Deck determines may harm Clock Deck, customers, or the Program.
Upon termination, the affiliate must stop promoting Clock Deck as an affiliate and stop using affiliate links, Clock Deck brand assets, and promotional claims.
Commissions related to violations, fraud, chargebacks, self-referrals, or unauthorized activity may be withheld, reversed, or forfeited.
19. Program Changes
Clock Deck may update, modify, pause, or end the Affiliate Program at any time.
Clock Deck may change commission rates, payout rules, eligibility requirements, trial offers, tracking methods, promotional rules, or these Terms.
Changes will apply going forward unless otherwise stated.
20. Independent Contractor Relationship
Affiliates are independent contractors. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, franchise, joint venture, or partnership relationship between the affiliate and Clock Deck.
Affiliates have no authority to bind Clock Deck, make promises on behalf of Clock Deck, or represent Clock Deck as an employee or agent.
21. Limitation of Liability
Clock Deck is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages related to participation in the Affiliate Program.
Clock Deck's total liability related to the Affiliate Program will not exceed the unpaid approved commissions owed to the affiliate, if any.
22. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Clock Deck LLC, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your participation in the Program, your promotional activities, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
23. Confidentiality
Non-public commission rates, custom payout arrangements, internal program details, referral data, customer information, and private communications shared with you as part of the Program are considered confidential.
Publicly advertised commission rates and general Program terms are not confidential.
Affiliates may disclose that they participate in the Clock Deck Affiliate Program when required for affiliate disclosures, tax, accounting, legal, or platform compliance purposes.
Affiliates may not disclose private customer information, non-public referral data, internal program communications, custom commission arrangements, or other confidential information without Clock Deck's written consent, except as required by law.
24. Non-Exclusivity
The Program is non-exclusive. Clock Deck may engage other affiliates, partners, resellers, or marketing channels at its discretion. You may promote other products or services, provided they do not conflict with your obligations under these Terms.
25. No Assignment or Transfer
You may not assign, transfer, sell, or delegate your affiliate account, referral link, commissions, or any rights under these Terms to another person or entity without Clock Deck's prior written consent. Any unauthorized assignment is void.
26. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Program shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in the State of Idaho. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration related to the Program.
27. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or arbitrator, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
28. Waiver
Clock Deck's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or the right to enforce it in the future.
29. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any separate written agreements between you and Clock Deck regarding the Program, constitute the entire agreement between you and Clock Deck regarding your participation in the Affiliate Program. These Terms supersede any prior discussions, representations, or agreements on this subject.
30. No Guaranteed Earnings
Clock Deck does not guarantee that any affiliate will earn commissions, generate referrals, receive traffic, convert customers, or achieve any specific financial result through participation in the Program.
Any examples, projections, or commission calculations shown by Clock Deck are for illustration only and do not guarantee actual earnings.
31. Survival
Any provisions that by their nature should survive termination of participation in the Program will survive, including but not limited to provisions regarding unpaid or reversed commissions, taxes, confidentiality, customer privacy and data protection, prohibited conduct, no unauthorized resale, brand usage restrictions, indemnification, limitation of liability, governing law, dispute resolution, and any payment or compliance obligations.
32. Affiliate Account Security
Affiliates are responsible for maintaining the security of their affiliate account login, referral links, payout information, and any Partner Demo Access credentials.
Affiliates must promptly notify Clock Deck if they believe their account, referral link, payout information, or demo access has been compromised or used without authorization.
Clock Deck is not responsible for losses, incorrect payout information, unauthorized changes, or misuse resulting from an affiliate's failure to maintain account security.
33. Customer Relationship
Referred customers are customers of Clock Deck, not the affiliate.
Affiliates may not interfere with a referred customer's billing, subscription, account access, support requests, cancellation requests, or relationship with Clock Deck.
Affiliates may not promise customers special pricing, discounts, support, features, integrations, onboarding, refunds, guarantees, or account terms unless Clock Deck has approved those terms in writing.
Clock Deck is responsible for approving, servicing, billing, supporting, suspending, or terminating customer accounts according to its own policies and agreements.
34. Commission Disputes
Affiliates are responsible for reviewing their referral activity, commission status, and payout information.
Any dispute regarding referral attribution, commission calculation, payout status, or missing commissions must be submitted to Clock Deck in writing within 30 days after the commission or payout information is made available in the affiliate dashboard or payout record.
If an affiliate does not submit a written dispute within that 30-day period, the commission, attribution, or payout record will be considered accepted.
Clock Deck will review submitted disputes in good faith, but Clock Deck's tracking records and payment records will control unless Clock Deck determines an error occurred.
35. Inactive Affiliate Accounts
Clock Deck may review affiliate accounts that show no referral activity, promotional activity, dashboard activity, or communication for an extended period.
Clock Deck may suspend, deactivate, or remove inactive affiliate accounts at its discretion.
Deactivation of an inactive affiliate account does not affect approved commissions already earned before deactivation, subject to these Terms and any applicable payout requirements.
36. Coupon, Deal, and Discount Sites
Affiliates may not list Clock Deck on coupon, discount, deal, promo code, cashback, rewards, or similar websites without Clock Deck's prior written approval.
Affiliates may not advertise, imply, or publish discount codes, special pricing, extended trials, or promotional offers unless Clock Deck has expressly approved that specific offer.
Clock Deck may withhold, reverse, or deny commissions from unauthorized coupon, deal, cashback, rewards, or promo-code traffic.
37. Program Review and Verification
Clock Deck may review affiliate activity, referral traffic, promotional methods, conversion patterns, payout activity, and customer complaints to protect the integrity of the Program.
Clock Deck may require an affiliate to provide reasonable information about how they are promoting Clock Deck, including websites, channels, ads, content, email campaigns, communities, or other traffic sources used to generate referrals.
If an affiliate fails to provide requested information, provides false or misleading information, or Clock Deck determines that referral activity appears suspicious, abusive, misleading, noncompliant, or inconsistent with these Terms, Clock Deck may suspend the affiliate account, withhold commissions, reverse commissions, restrict promotional methods, or terminate participation in the Program.
